We got Bella at 2 months old and she loved snow. Now at 11 months, she really loves snow. Getting her to come inside is like pulling teeth. She loves pushing it around with her nose and digging in it. Now, if she would just come when she's called we would be in great shape. That is the only command she just won't listen to when outside. Inside she does fine. On her birthday next month, I'm going to transition her to sleeping in the bedroom. I hate her sleeping in a cage! She goes to bed at 11 and gets up at 7. If she potties at night she won't go in the morning till around 9 or 10. Weird dog! lol And if she pees at night she won't in the morning for hours..............She still likes to steal paper and tear it up, but each month a bad habit goes away, just not this one............g Oh well, we lover her to death anyhow........
Bells is beautiful doodles are stubborn
Bella shakes her paw with me and leaves treats till I tell her she can have them. I don't like shock collars or choke collars but love the gentle leader. I want her to greet people nicer as I have a handicapped neighbor in a wheelchair that I would like him to be able to pet her. She has been to obedience classes twice, but I found she doesn't like the classes and learns faster at home. She is stubborn, but so loveable. lol It takes very little time to train her as she picks up on hand signals and verbal commands in a very short time. I trained her on pee pads and then to go outside. I was told she would never stop using the pee pads. Wrong! Took no time at all for the transition. Fully housebroke by 4 1/2 months or sooner. Love my Bella!
Hi: I live in Altoona, Pa. I am owned by Bella my 11 month old English Cream Goldendoodle..............I have learned that Bella learns commands and lots of other words, but she does it in her own time. Once she has a command down, she doesn't seem to ever forget it. We walk with a gentle leader. She now weighs 59.2 lbs. My only problem is she loves everyone which is ok, but I don't want her over excited greeting to knock someone down. But, we are working on it. I'm glad I found this group.
my doodles name is Ellie Mae. She's the coolest pooch
I've ever had (and I've had some awesome pooches) shes almost 2 and I would like to find a quality sire for her. I'm prepared to supply all health and testing needed on my end and hope to find a sire who's owners are like minded in that respect. If anyone with a nice male doodle of standard to lardge size in the Johnstown Altoona area and interested in breeding their male golden doodle please drop me a reply
Thanks, Ken
