Tonight Gizmo learned to walk up the ramp and back down in order for him to get in the back of our SUV. We've been lifting him, but it's getting waaaay to hard for Terry and I can't do it. So, if he wants to go for a ride (and you KNOW he does), he has to walk into it himself. We practiced on flat ground 3-4 times. O.K., O.K., I have a little story I would like to share. Sometimes, not all of the time, Pemon will come in and wake me up. Sometimes he will come in and check if I'm sleeping and leave me along, the sweetheart. But this morning was one of those mornings he decided he wanted me up, no matter what! Love this dog!
We've had Hank for 7 months now and while I have had a number of dog throughout my life and loved every one of them, this dog is really something special! This breed is AMAZING!! I know it's been mentioned before, but communicating with him is almost human-like. The direct eye contact is the best. I'm sure you all must feel the same way.

I need to treat my plants to keep the bugs off and disease away. I don't want to use a pesticide because Gizmo likes to wander in the garden, licking the dew off the plants or outright eating them in some cases. What can I use that is pet friendly and still do the trick? I didn't have this problem last year because we got Gizmo in the fall and everything was dormant - bug season was over.See More
